When was West Texas InfoSec formed?

West Texas InfoSec officially became a non-profit organization on March 4, 2019.

Why was WtxInfoSec formed?

Our core mission is to enrich the region's cybersecurity awareness and foster collaboration across all members of the community.

Are you a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit?

Yes! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the State of Texas.

How much does it cost to become a member?

The cost is $35 per year.

Why should I become a member?

Our core mission is to raise cybersecurity awareness across the region and foster collaboration across all members of the community. Your membership does the following: 1. Fund our monthly 915 Cyber Talk events 2. Help promote the organization and its cause, 3. Fund our yearly Borderland Cyber Summit event, 4. And so much more!

By becoming a member, you are eligible for the following: 1. Vote for board of directors 2. Run for a board of director position 3. Enter into drawings to win free swag!
